<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Two-factor authentication (2FA) protects your account by requiring two methods to confirm your identity at login:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Your regular account password.</li>



<li>A temporary security code generated from an authentication app or sent to you separately.</li>
</ul>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Even if someone knows your password, they cannot access your account without the second verification step. This keeps your information safer from unauthorized users and phishing attempts.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) To enable 2FA, follow these instructions:</strong></p>



<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>Go to Account Settings.</li>



<li>Select the Security tab.</li>



<li>Click on the Turn on 2FA button.</li>
</ol>

<li>If you&#8217;re using Google Authentication without a password set, you will need to create one first. Enter and confirm your new password, then click Next.</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>5. Set up your Authentication App:</strong></p>



<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>Download one of the suggested authentication apps (Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator) to your mobile device.</li>



<li>Scan the provided QR code using your authentication app.</li>
</ol>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you&#8217;re unable to scan, use the Manual setup code option provided below the QR code.</p>

<li><strong>After successful setup, a list of ten backup codes appears. Important:</strong></li>
</ol>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Save these backup codes somewhere secure. You will only see them once.</strong>&nbsp;You can use these backup codes if you lose access to your authentication app. Each backup code works only once.</p>

<li>Click on the Generate new link.</li>



<li>Confirm your password to proceed.</li>
</ol>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>9. You can disable 2FA anytime:</strong></p>

<li>Click Disable 2FA.</li>



<li>Enter your account password to confirm disabling.</li>
</ol>
